Window Designs

Window designs occupy the minds of many homeowners when building their homes. Do they want to have modern, minimalist windows or go for more elaborate and ornate old fashioned windows that are works of art in themselves. If you have visited old style homes you would have been stuck by the beauty and intricacy that is involved in the creation of those masterpieces. At once they stand out and make a statement of their own.
Not the windows of today which are just plain openings with minimalist frames with glass inserted. Today's window reflect the times where people don't have too much time to maintain and clean intricate designs. They would rather have simple window designs that can be easily cleaned and kept dust free. Also, modern windows are more likely to focus on energy-efficiency and effective insulation. If the windows can perform these functions then the window is considered to have served its purpose.

Custom Glass Windows

Leaving your skin care clinic's big glass windows bare can be dangerous. Someone might accidentally walk through the glass. Not only that, a passersby will think of the facade as bare and boring. Using custom window cling, you can add life to those glass windows and at the same time use the opportunity to advertise the services that you offer. These allow for almost any design; you can stick up prints that give tips on how people can take care of the skin or photos of your skin care products. Various sizes ranging from average to larger ones are available. Thus, you have the option for either partial or full coverage of the windows.

Front Door Glass Inserts

A large wreath, wrapped with cranberries, looks as charming on a window or wall as it does on your front door (see photograph below). The two small wreaths and strands of ribbon and cranberries framing it also can be used to decorate an interior wall or window. To make the entire arrangement you see here, you'll need a twenty-inch straw-wreath form; two eight-inch single-wire wreath forms; floral pins; twenty-four-gauge floral wire; sprigs of dark-green arborvitae; cranberries; and four-inch wide red ribbon. Arborvitae is a good choice for this wreath because the cranberries stand out against the dark green, but a light-colored cedar could also be used as well.
To make the large wreath for the door, place the straw-wreath form on a work surface, and, using floral pins, attach sprigs of the arborvitae all the way around the wreath.

Children love hands-on activities and when you add color into the mix, all the better. Making stained glass window art is an fun kids' project, which renders surprising results.
Teaching your kids how to make faux stained glass is a creative way to demonstrate the value of using everyday materials such as wax paper & leftover crayons stubs to create something beautiful.

Glass Artists

First opened in 2006, the Glass Pavilion at Toledo's Museum of Art now holds over 5,000 glass pieces ranging from antiquity to contemporary and post modern. Both and building's interior and exterior are composed largely of curved glass with clean lines and cool, inviting colors.Tokyo based architecture firm, SANAA Ltd, enjoyed playing with and blurring the lines between the interior functional space of the Glass Pavilion and the wooded natural lot surrounding it's exterior. The Glass Pavilion won Travel+Leisure's 2007 Design Award for "Best Museum."

Glass Door Panels

The 2001 Dodge Stratus model comes in either a two door or four door model and all the doors have door panels installed on them. Behind the plastic door panel on this car are the wires that control the windows and the locks as well as the window motor. When the locks and windows stop working, you will need to remove the door panel to access the components and repair them.
